Hey...We woke up early (4:30 am) since we went to bed at 7 pm. This time change is hard to adjust to. We ventured out a little last night. We wandered to a park and were approached by three little boys...it broke our hearts to see children on the street. We know that very well could have been Jay-R's life. We said a prayer for all the children when we returned to our room. We decided to do room service for dinner. The three of us ate room service for around $20 and it was good food. We are posting a few pictures of the view from our hotel window and some of you have asked what a jeepney is so we are posting a picture of that as well. We will meet Jay-R this afternoon (or while most of you are sleeping!). I feel nervous, excited butterflies in my stomach...this is the moment we have been waiting for!

Thanks again for the update! We're constantly checking the computer and watching the clock knowing as every minute passes you are that much closier in meeting Jay-R and bringing him home! Keep the faith and our love and prayers are with you all!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your exciting adoption journey with all of us. All the staff and residents of the Manor have been keeping The Allisons and little Jay-R in their prayers and are anxious to meet him. Your blog is read to the residents everyday, we all feel like grandparents! You write so beautifully and with such heart that we feel as though we are right there with you. We have copied the blog so everyone can read it. Jay-R is a cutie. Our hearts broke when we heard how he called you Mommy, Daddy, Tae and was carrying a worn picture book of his new family. Praying you have a good trip back to the US and will be anxious to hear more from you.
Miss you and appreciate all the instructions you prepared for us before leaving.
